WITH 2010 CENSUS LOOMING, MASS FEARS THERE WILL BE AN UNDERCOUNT

Because of immigration raids, officials and organizers are worried that doors will not open for census takers. That scenario could cost Massachusetts millions of federal dollars and maybe a congressional seat. Authorities are stepping up efforts to reach immigrants and other hard-to count-groups.
